There are times when everything seems so big and there's nothing you can do about it. But take a few steps forward and what had seemed insurmountable will be behind us. Time can do that, inexorably moving us on even though we may want to stay a little longer.
This picture was taken beneath the late bloomer, several days after its glorious profusion of red. A few more days and these will have blown away or washed out by the rain, reminding us that these too are passing us by as the seasons progress.

Those times, when everything seems to be that big, we get frightened and we loose control, we get blinded by that fear of trying to fix the things.
