
Some may bloom within the confines imposed upon them, but the prettiest for me is the one that manages to break away from externally imposed limitations.
It's what you want inside your viewfinder, and ignoring the rest.
There are times when everything seems so big and there's nothing you can do about it. But take a few steps forward and what had seemed insurmountable will be behind us. Time can do that, inexorably moving us on even though we may want to stay a little longer.
This picture was taken beneath the late bloomer, several days after its glorious profusion of red. A few more days and these will have blown away or washed out by the rain, reminding us that these too are passing us by as the seasons progress.
